Replies that read the thing first.

It finds posts in your niche. When the post is mostly a link, it opens the link; when it's a clip with barely any words, it watches the video — then drafts your reply. You approve, and it goes out from your own browser, spaced apart rather than in a burst.

Before you ask.

Will this get my account banned?

No. Replies never touch an automation API — each one goes out from your own browser, after you click approve. Posts publish through your own X connection around the time you picked, like any scheduler.

Will it sound like a bot?

It's built from up to your last 150 posts — your sentence length, your punctuation, the things you never do — and your last 5 edits ride along with it, so a correction shows up in the next draft. Under about 100 posts, it starts you on its house style until there's enough of you to read.

Do I need GitHub?

For posts from what you ship, yes — it reads what you write around the work: commit messages, branch names, pull request and issue titles and bodies, release notes. Never your code. Without it, posts come from your topics and bookmarks.

Does anything go out without me?

Nothing Penwell writes goes out until you approve it. The one exception is a post your own tools push through your API key with a time on it — that one goes out around the time they set, which is what the key is for.

What do I have to install?

One Chrome extension, about thirty seconds. It's what posts replies from your real session, and what reads your view counts off x.com — X's API won't hand those over, so without it your views stay blank.

What does it connect to?

X. GitHub for posts. Google Search Console for what people search. WordPress if you want articles sent there as drafts — otherwise you copy them.

What if I hate it?

You add a card up front, but the first 7 days are free — cancel before they're up and you're never charged. That free week is a one-time thing, and a promo code or a referral link comes with its own offer instead. After that it's $39/mo for one X account plus $19 for each extra one, cancel any time, and you keep access to the end of the month you paid for.
